49 hours, 10 minutes, and 50 seconds until Ulduar - 10 - HARD MODE(S)!
Fortuitus DKP System
1.Raid Expectations The assigned Raid Leader will post the approved attendees on the Fortuitus calendar at least 12 hours prior to a raid. Signing up first on the website DOES NOT guarantee you a spot on the raid. In general, approvals are based on the following weights:- Matching skillset/raid comp with expected content.
- Fair rotation of membership.
- Past performance.
- General gear level and preparedness (includes consumable use, pre-reading on strategies, attendance history).
- Individual raid availability for the week.
Should you feel that you have been wait-listed unfairly, please contact an officer via a private message on the forums.
To receive your raid attendance DKP, members who are on that approved list are expected to be at the raid instance at least 15 minutes prior to the starting time. You must also be fully repaired (Dueling contributes to armor degradation), and with all necessary items to attend the raid (flasks, elixirs, food, mods, spare gear, etc.) Approved attendees will not receive a summon unless there are extenuating circumstances. If an approved member is not at the raid instance 5 minutes prior to the raid start time, your spot will be filled by the next available person in your class.
Once the raid starts, you should not go on an unscheduled AFK, with the exception of extenuating circumstances. Should you need to leave the raid early, it is your responsibility to notify the raid leader well in advance so that a replacement can be found without undue disruption and delay to the raid. Replacements will be found according to the type of class you are (Healer, DPS, Tank) and the raid leader will use the waiting list to see who is available.
2. How DKP Is Accumulated
DKP is awarded for participating in guild activities. These points are accumulated immediately.
Member is in the raid, at the instance portal 15 minutes prior to the scheduled raid start time: +5 DKP. Member is in the raid, at the instance portal at start time: +5 DKP. Member is in the raid, and participated in a boss kill: +5 DKP.* *This value is +15 DKP if Fortuitus had not killed the boss (or hard mode) prior to that instance.
Points may be awarded for special acts at the discretion of the guild officers.
There is a 1,000 DKP cap. Points earned in excess of the cap will be discarded immediately. For persons with alternate characters, points are accumulated by the player that is participating in the activity by default. If you wish for a different character to accumulate the points, you MUST inform the raid leader BEFORE the raid is over.
DKP may not be transferred between players.
3. How Points Are Spent
DKP may be lost for poor conduct. There is a 10 DKP penalty for signing up for an event and failing to show up. If you sign up for an event but later find that you cannot make it, notify an officer and remove your name from the website list. Exceptions may be made in emergencies and special situations.
LOOT. Profession recipes Profession recipes that create BoE items (of any rarity) are handled as follows: 1. The master looter will call for all mains with the requisite profession level (i.e. formula requires enchanting 425, so only enchanters with 425+ skill are immediately eligible). If more than one main qualifies for the recipe, the mains will do a "/roll currentDKP" where "currentDKP" is their DKP according to the GRSS mod (which, as of patch 3.1, counts DKP earned/spent in the current raid). the 1,000 DKP cap is still enforced. The winner of the roll gets the pattern. 2. If no mains have the requisite skill level, the call goes to alts with the requisite skill level. Ties are handled the same way as mains (via DKP). 3. If no mains or alts have the requisite skill level, the call goes to any crafters of any skill level. Ties are handled based on highest skill level for the specific profession. 4. If no members can use the recipe, BoE recipes go to the bank, BoP recipes are left on the corpse. 5. No DKP is charged for these recipes, as BoE items generally help the guild.
Profession recipes that create BoP items are treated as if the item itself were up for bid. Only crafters with the requisite skill level may bid. If no raid member has the requisite skill level, the bidding order follows the order for BoE-item-patterns.
General items BLUE quality or below. 1. Items of BLUE (rare) quality or below (green/uncommon) are sent to the guild bank. Members may request these items from an officer. Requests will be evaluated based on need, however it is expected that in situations where DKP is involved, no blue or green quality items should be needed by any member of the raid, as they should be considerable downgrades in all cases.
Bind on Pickup items PURPLE quality. BoP items of purple (epic) quality shall be handled as follows: 1. Mains with main spec (as designated in the official forum thread) shall be allowed to bid between 5 and 300 DKP, not to exceed their current DKP. Tied bids at the 300 DKP maximum will be decided based on an additional /roll of the main's current DKP (as of patch 3.1, this includes DKP earned/spent during the event). The winner of the roll spends 300 DKP. 2. Alts with main spec, and mains gearing an off-spec shall be allowed to bid between 5 and 25 DKP. 3. All ties under 300 will be decided with a /roll out of 100. 4. If a main is using an alt or an off-spec at the request of an officer to fill a vital raid role, they may bid as if they were main/main spec (see rule 1). 5. If the BoP item is unwanted, it shall go to an enchanter for disenchanting. The materials gathered in this fashion shall go to the guild bank.
Items shall be segregated as follows:- + Hit gear is main spec for DPS, off-spec for healers and tanks. Exception: Leather armor for Feral Druids and tank oriented gear (i.e. those with bonus armor, defense, dodge, block, parry or exceptional stamina).
- Spirit gear is main spec for Priests (healing & DPS), Warlocks, Mages, Tree & Boomkin Druids. It is off-spec for Paladins, Shaman.
- Mp5 gear is main spec for healers (Holy/Disc Priests, Tree Druids, Resto Shaman, Holy Paladins) and off-spec for DPS casters. Exception: Torch of Holy Fire is main spec for DPS casters since it is the only 226 iLvl caster weapon for Priests, Druids, and Shaman.
- Spellpower/Crit/Haste gear (no +hit, no mp5) is main spec for all casters - healers or DPS.
- Lower-tier armor type is considered off-spec. This means cloth is off spec for Druid, Shaman and Paladin. Leather is off-spec for Shaman and Paladin. Mail is off-spec for Paladins. This applies to caster and melee gear.
- Melee main spec has priority over Hunters main spec for melee weapons (i.e. 2H Axes, 2H Swords, Pole Arms are DK, DPS Warrior, Ret Pally, Feral Druid main spec, Hunter off spec. 1H Axes, 1H Swords, Daggers are Rogue, Enhance Shaman main spec, Hunter off spec. Staves are Feral Druid main spec, Hunter off spec.)
- Hunters main spec has priority over Melee main spec for Bows/Guns.
- Expertise gear is for melee only, not Hunters
- Gear with bonus armor, defense, dodge, block, parry or exceptional stamina are Tank main spec, DPS off spec.
- Bear Druids are off spec for non-leather DPS gear (Necks, Rings, Trinkets, Cloaks)
Bind on Equip items of PURPLE quality. BoE items of purple (epic) quality shall be treated as Bind on Pickup items, and are not to be sold or traded in any fashion. Distribution of BoE epic items shall follow the rules for BoP epics. If there are no winners at the end of distribution, the item shall go to the guild bank for later distribution.
The DKP system is in effect for all official High Level Dungeon Raids that are on the guild calendar. An officer will act as Master Looter and administer the loot distribution.
How You Can View Your DKP, or Correct A DKP Total You can view the DKP that members have by going to the website "DKP" Menu. If you believe your DKP total is incorrect, submit a detailed explanation of what you believe your DKP should be (including date and names of events) by private forum message to an officer. It is a good idea to keep your own DKP log as mistakes may happen.
During a raid, any raid member may whisper the raid leader or master looter "!dkp myname", where "myname" is the name of their main character. If done correctly, the raid leader or master looter will auto-respond with the character's current DKP total. As of patch 3.1, this total will include the amount earned/spent during the raid. |
